Good morning family! I wanted to let you know that we are looking for David an older reliable car until he gets back on his feet.
Jimmy will be able to put studded snow tires on it for David to get around this winter because he’s looking for a job.. Jimmy says preferably a smaller Toyota or Honda. $3000 or less. Please be in prayer about this and spread the word and if anything you see comes available, please let me or Jimmy know. Love each of you!!

Dear Family & Friends,

We are having Banner Home-place Hurricane Recovery Workdays in May.

Our hope is to hold on to hosting the Banner Reunion on July 27th

Any friends or family wanting to volunteer to help out with porch and yard clean up would be a great blessing.
We had 30+ big trees fall and
porch/electrical damage from Hurricane Helene.

Thankfully, the Banner house had only minimal damages which have since been repaired.

Here are the dates:

Beginning at 9:00am these days:
Fri/Sat, May 2nd/3rd
Fri/Sat, May16th/17th
Fri/Sat May 24th/25th

Call or Text George 828-964-1495 or Mitzi 828-964-1560 if you plan to come on any of the proposed dates.

Bring your own:

-Work gloves
-Truck if you need firewood

Help List:

-Pick up sticks/debris
-Burn Brush
-Split wood
-Rake and level out yard
-Prep and Sew Grass
-Clean Porch and Pickets
-Clean Front Porch Siding
-Haul Trash and Damaged Furniture Off.

Resources Needed:

-Trucks
-Track hoe
-Dump trailer if anyone has access.

Hello family!!
Terri-Lynne asked me share with you about our precious Aunt Doris.

This is from Terri..

Just in case you haven’t heard.

This past Monday mom had stroke symptoms and was airlifted to Abilene North. As it turns out, the tests showed it was just a TIA and not a stroke and her left side recovered. BUT then on Wednesday she had the same type stroke symptoms on her left side. This time, the MRI showed it was a stroke. She has permanent damage to her left side and her speech and swallowing is affected. On Friday we made the hard decision to respect her wishes and put her on hospice. She was released from the hospital on Saturday and is now back at Rising Star nursing home with assistance from Kinder Hearts Hospice nurses. I just thought mom would want you to know.
