Today feels like an important reminder to pause and reflect.

It is not lost on me that I get to live a beautiful life — raising my children in safety, loving my incredible family, building a business I’m passionate about, and waking up each day with freedoms so many around the world don’t have.

The ability to dream, to create, to build something of my own, and to raise my children in a country where they can experience those same freedoms is a gift I never want to take for granted.

Those freedoms came at a cost.

Today, I’m remembering and honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives so families like mine could live freely, safely, and with hope for the future.

Their sacrifice is not forgotten.

Wishing you a meaningful Memorial Day as we remember those who gave everything.

Moms trying to survive May-cember after being the room mom, gift buyer, snack signer-upper, graduation attendee, sports chauffeur, costume finder, party planner, memory maker, and family calendar manager all month long 😅

At this point, I don’t even know what day it is anymore… only what event I’m late for 😂

May somehow became:
✨ teacher appreciation week
✨ spirit week
✨ awards ceremonies
✨ recitals
✨ sports banquets
✨ graduations
✨ class parties
✨ end-of-year gifts
✨ “don’t forget your child needs ___ tomorrow” emails at 9pm

…and in the middle of all of it, moms are still trying to make everything feel magical for everyone else 💛

But here’s your reminder:

You do NOT have to do everything perfectly to create beautiful memories.

Your kids are going to remember:
✔ you cheering for them
✔ you showing up
✔ you laughing with them
✔ the way this season FELT

Not whether the snacks matched the theme or the gift bags were Pinterest-worthy.

So if you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, behind, emotional, or currently surviving on iced coffee and a prayer…

same 🤝

We spend so much time trying to make childhood magical for our kids…
planning the parties
creating the moments
