At the firehouse, they “grocery shop,” cook, eat and clean!

I asked my almost 12 year old to give me feedback on recipes I want to try with him. This was the result. Parents, even chefs struggle with feeding their kids. We should normalize this.

Private and homeschool moms - even though FCPS goes back to school on August 18, I know there’s a bunch of us that still have kiddos at home for another week or two.

I’m offering my cooking camp that week, 9 to 1:30 PM and I do still have spots. General guidance is ages 8 to 14.

I'm looking to fill up two particular weeks - June 23-27, and July 21-25.

I am also offering single day slots! As a mom myself I know sometimes I just need a day or two of activities for my kids. To make this happen, just reply to this email with what date(s) you want, and venmo $85 per day per child. I will then add them to the class roster for that day.

If you have a swim team kiddo and they will arrive a bit later, that's totally fine.

And a recap - 10 am - 2 pm, Vienna Volunteer Fire House second floor, age range 8-14 but flexible, we cook different things all the time so no worries about repeats!

Did you know I do freezer stock ups? I have a waitlist for weekly private chef work but occasionally I have a free day, and this can be a way to solve for busy evenings! This freezer has two rows (you can only see row one), so they are stocked up for those days when time just disappears.
