What an honor it was to work alongside some of the best floral design educators and industry professionals from across Texas and beyond. Being part of this was an incredible experience and a great reminder of the creativity, teamwork, and passion that make this industry so special.

Together, we brought our vision to life and created a design experience that showcased the talent and dedication of everyone involved.

The Cultivated Blooms Retreat provided valuable ideas, new techniques, and fresh inspiration that I’m excited to bring back to my classroom this year. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from so many talented individuals and look forward to putting these experiences to work with my students.

🍦🌸 DAY 2 of Sweet Texas Memories is about to officially be underway! 🌸🍦

Today our talented Floral Design students will continue bringing Blue Bell Creameries inspired creations to life in our In-House Floral Design Contest! From dreamy color palettes to designs inspired by everyone’s favorite sweet treats, these students are proving that floral design and creativity are a perfect recipe together. 💐✨

The competition is getting tougher, the designs are getting sweeter, and the creativity is overflowing! Stay tuned as we showcase more amazing work from our students throughout the week. 👀🏆

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms out there! 🌸💐

Today we celebrate the love, strength, and endless support that mothers give every single day. We hope your day is filled with beautiful flowers, sweet memories, and time with the people you love most.

We also want to share that this month’s arrangement was our final Floral of the Month for the school year! Thank you to everyone who supported Treasure Island Florals throughout the year. Your orders, encouragement, and continued support mean so much to our students and program.

We are so grateful for each of you and cannot wait to create more beautiful designs for you next school year! 🌺✨

We are beyond proud of our Treasure Island Florals students for an incredible finish to their contest season! 🌸✨

At the Go Big Blooms Floral Soirée at Lumberton High School—featuring a Bridgerton-inspired theme—our students truly rose to the occasion with elegance, creativity, and skill.

🌷 McKenzie Grass – Reserve Grand Champion

💐 Team Contest Results:
🌿 Casey Shivers & Amber Toman – 4th Place
🌸 Camden Tappe & McKenzie Grass – 7th Place

Every student walked away with a prize, and we couldn’t be happier with their hard work and dedication. What a beautiful way to wrap up the season!

🌸✨ Introducing Random Acts of Flowers ✨🌸

VHS Treasure Island Florals is excited to launch a brand-new way to spread kindness in our school community!

Life brings both celebrations and challenges — and sometimes, a simple bouquet can say what words cannot. 💐 Through Random Acts of Flowers, we’re inviting YOU to help us surprise someone special with a small floral arrangement to remind them they are seen, valued, and supported.

Do you know someone walking through a difficult season?
Someone who just received exciting news?
Someone who simply deserves a little extra sunshine in their day?

🌷 Nominate them by scanning the QR code on the poster and completing the Google Form. Our team will review submissions and select recipients to receive a thoughtful arrangement created by our students.

This opportunity is made possible thanks to the Valero Grant — and we can’t wait to use it to brighten lives, one bouquet at a time.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from Treasure Island Florals! ✨🎄

As we wrap up the semester, our hearts are full of gratitude and holiday cheer. We loved hosting our annual floral party, a special tradition that lets us celebrate creativity, friendship, and all the hard work that went into this season. From festive designs to lots of laughter, it was the perfect way to round out an amazing semester.

Thank you to everyone who supported, participated, and shared in the joy with us this year. We hope your Christmas is filled with beauty, warmth, and a little bit of floral magic 🌺🎁

DESIGN DAY!!!

🌿🎄 December Arrangements Are Here! 🎄🌿

Our Intro to Floral Design students spent this week creating their festive December arrangements using classic Christmas greens and beautiful red roses — and they turned out stunning!

This project gave students hands-on experience working with seasonal textures, holiday color harmony, and proper mechanics for fresh designs. Their creativity and confidence continue to grow with every arrangement they make! ❤️🌹

Treasure Island Florals would like to give a huge shoutout to the Vidor Pirate Athletic Booster Club for allowing us the honor of creating the Senior Night flower bouquets! 💐 It was such a joy to design something special to celebrate our incredible seniors and all they’ve accomplished.
