Landon + Kassidy 🦋 Surprise Proposal
Seven weeks ago, Landon called me with a very important mission: he wanted my help planning the perfect surprise proposal session for his longtime girlfriend.
The moment he said her name I knew exactly who his future bride was.
I’ve known Kassidy for such a long time, so being trusted to capture this beautiful milestone in her life was such an honor.
Fast forward to proposal day…
Kassidy thought she was coming to do a family session with Landon and his family. The only problem? His family was going to be “late.” 😉
She showed up in a beautiful white dress, while Landon was dressed in a sharp suit that fit his charm perfectly.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, there was an entire operation happening.
While the artist was setting up the sign, flowers, and all the beautiful details, we started our session in the parking garage underneath the building.
And I’m standing there thinking…
Oh my gosh… Kassidy is probably wondering why in the world she is dressed this beautifully and taking pictures in a parking garage!
Of course, she never said that...but I can only imagine what was going through her mind!
Then there was my phone…
Constantly ringing.
Everyone was trying to communicate with me behind the scenes and make sure everything was happening exactly as planned.
And again, in my head I’m thinking:
“Kassidy is probably wondering why this photographer keeps answering phone calls during our session. She probably thinks I’m so unprofessional!” 😂
I mean, honestly… if I were paying for a session and my photographer kept answering calls, I might be thinking the same thing!
But Kassidy? She was nothing but sweet, patient, and completely went with the flow.
Finally, we made our way up the ramp to the top floor…
And that’s where the magic happened.
The surprise was revealed, and Kassidy was completely caught off guard.
All of Landon’s planning, coordinating, secret phone calls, and behind-the-scenes work paid off.
He had planned such a beautiful moment for the woman he loves, and I was incredibly honored to be there to capture it.
This is just a little sneak peek into their special day, but I have a feeling these are memories Kassidy and Landon will treasure forever.
