Traffic heading west on I-20 is at a complete standstill well before getting to Edwards. Traffic at Edwards going west to Highway 80 is extremely heavy as well.

From MHP:

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently responding to a crash involving two 18-wheelers on Interstate 20 westbound near the 17-mile marker in Warren County.

Neither driver was injured in the crash.

I-20 westbound is currently closed while emergency personnel work to clear the scene. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route and should expect delays in the area.

Please use caution and remain patient as emergency crews work to safely reopen the roadway.
