Opening our shop in a 1940’s metal Texaco Gas Station allowed for our style of living to flow into our business. Working with other small businesses, events to fund-raise for local non-profits, sharing our talents through classes and our love of the kitschy and absurd all happen on our little corner of East Main Street in Vevay, IN. We embrace the mantra of positive energy our brings positive energy back and look to share our energy and style with you when you visit our shop, which you can do in person or via our website, Facebook, and Instagram.

Vevay Vintage Prop & Shop got its start 30 years ago as I started collecting in earnest and the house and barn filled over the years. Fast forward to 2013 and my wedding to Jeff, which was a surprise wedding at our 1864 home. Our décor was county chic, upcycled Parisian flea market, and a bit of gypsy sparkle and flair topped off with fresh flowers everywhere. This bit of décor was soon being borrowed by friends and family for their events; enter my 25+ years of event planning thus the birth of Vevay Vintage Prop & Shop in and our first store front in 2016.

Our event planning skills include creating events from scratch to day of coordination. We have created small intimate anniversary dinners for twelve to conference events involving 600+ guests. Finding the one of kind venue for the discerning client and creating the dream for all those involved. The props (my personal collection from 30 years of antiquing) are now available for rent. These unique items are not the ‘run of the mill’ rentals but truly one of a kind and personal to give your event, venue, and photos the personal touch you are looking for. We also have vintage china place settings for up to 125 guests and the solid wood doors to set up and serve it on.

You can find a range of items from antique furniture to costume jewelry and vintage dishware. All merchandise in the shop can be rented for photo shoots, weddings, staging, and other events. Our shop location and the front lot area can be rented for private events, showers, and parties.
