Out of all my planters this year, I think this is my fav! Although I think all of my planter this year are extra beautiful, dispite getting ravished by deer multiple times.
It was a vison come to life, I feel like I say that alot.... might need a new phrase. 🤔 Anyway my Dad had given me this authentic whisky barrel he got from a brewery he had done some work at. it sat in my yard for probaly a year trying to decide what to do with it. Once my husband and I got our landscaping refreshed this spring and we had a big "hole" on the corner of the house. then 💡 the idea of the barrel and lots of vines tumbling down the front out of an overturned pot was the vison. I did have to get a bit creative for how the plants were going to sit on the top, but Cal and I got it figured out! It is also quite stunning looking at it driving up the driveway!
P.S. don't mind my anti deer device of a plastic grocery bag tucked under the pot! 😂 its only dumb if it doesn't work!
