Hey Edin Events Friends! Just wanted to hop on here and say that I am taking life a lot slower these days. I am still on maternity leave as I want to eat up as much time as possible with our boy! He’s doing great after his dramatic entrance into the world, and we are just thrilled to be parents. Definitely sleep deprived, but happy lol. I’m still answering emails & inquiries, just a little slower than normal as I have someone very important to take care of 🥰

My husband and I have been keeping our personal life off of social media lately, but we felt it was time to finally update everyone on what has been happening! 🥰 In July, we found out we were expecting and have been jumping for joy ever since!

Fast forward - I ended up going into labor earlier than expected & we welcomed our baby boy, John Forrest Marcum, to the world on December 6th. He is currently doing amazingly under the circumstances in the NICU and we can’t wait to bring him home when he passes all the criteria to do so! Each day we see him, he continues to surprise and delight us. Yesterday we got to see him open his eyes for the very first time. We are absolutely in love.

Thank you to all of those who have called, texted, emailed, visited, sent food, sent gifts, etc. I am so grateful for all the blessings and help we have received during this time in our life. What a village we are surrounded by. Brings the happiest of tears to my eyes 🥹 Keep us in your thoughts and prayers 💕

I am currently on maternity leave for the foreseeable future to focus on Forrest. Alivia is graciously handling all clients until I get back. She is an angel on this earth and I don’t know what I would do without her! ❤️

Ain’t no party like a Louisa, KY party! 🥳 WOW! What an amazing event to end the Edin Events 2024 season on. We had such a blast helping plan the Three Rivers Hospital 50th Anniversary Party. This was such a cool milestone in my career too as this is the first event I’ve had the pleasure to help host back in my hometown. (Besides when I got to plan prom back in high school lol) Of course, I could not have done it without all these amazing vendors! 💙

Special thanks to Belinda Cyrus, Skylar West, & Greg Kiser who were my core planning team these past few months!! Couldn’t have pulled it together without your help and dedication. Sad our meetings are over, but grateful for the successful end product!

Just hopping on here to let y’all know Bre and I are still alive and planning kickass weddings & events! I took a bit of a sabbatical from posting and I’m here to report, all is well. Bre is killing it as a momma to her baby. I’ve got my nose to the grindstone for a great fall event season. We’ve got a wedding this weekend. Life is good! Hope everyone’s summer was a blast as the seasons start to shift! 🥰
