These are the three big things that are super important to me as a wedding planner. You should always be considerate of your guests and ask yourself and if you were at your wedding as a guest, would it be an enjoyable experience? And when you work with a professional wedding planner, they will show you ways that you can watch your budget without cutting corners that will inevitably lead to disaster on the wedding day… Because sometimes when you do that there are problems that just cannot be fixed.

Always ask your florist when they would need to have something by in order to put it in your bouquet. You might get a florist that will want to do it same day but no matter what their answer is it's important to set this up in advance.

I said everything I needed to say in the video so no need for a long caption here… But yes, I am aware that this is going to strike a nerve with all different people depending on your viewpoint of this entire situation.

This isn't rage bait, and I'm not posting anything for clicks… I don't need to do that… The story was sent to me a bazillion times and I never once even saw it on my own. So this was my $2 million because my opinion is definitely worth more than two cents…

Though you might not agree.

If you think planning a local wedding is difficult, wait till I tell you how much harder planning a destination one is.

This is a big wedding that we have coming up for this summer and I'm not gonna lie, while I am super excited about how amazing this is going to be, planning a destination wedding is not for the weak. It can be especially challenging when, as a New Jersey based planner, who is used to same-day responses, has to follow up 17 times for any given subject.

Destination weddings are totally different animal and you may not think you need a wedding planner for a local wedding (you do though), but I can promise you this, you absolutely need one for a destination.

Turns out securing the visas was the easiest part.
