It’s not every day you get a call that leads to one of the most exciting collaborations of your career, but that’s exactly what happened when Michele Fox-Gott and her incredible team at Center of Attention Events in Los Angeles reached out.
It wasn’t our first “under wraps”project, but this one felt different from the start. It was one of those moments where you simply say, "Let's go!"
The inspiration for the celebration came from Botticelli's The Birth of Venus. We wanted the invitation suite to honor that story by capturing the elegance, symbolism, and rich color palette of the period while interpreting it in a way that felt fresh, modern, and uniquely personal to the couple. After exploring several concepts, we landed on a design that felt both timeless and distinctive. It is, and will always be, a one-of-a-kind.
Created for the beautiful Brittany Parisi and Jonathan Davis of Korn, the suite featured a rich palette of red, mauve, green, and blue with gold foil stamping, a duplexed die-cut piece, a custom die-cut cherub, and a metallic gold-lined envelope. A wax seal supplied by the couple was added to the suite as a final detail before being mailed out with Renaissance-inspired postage.
Then came the surprise we never saw coming. The wedding, along with our invitation design, was featured in People magazine. Seeing our work included in such a beautiful editorial made an already unforgettable project even more special.
A heartfelt thank you to Michele and the entire Center of Attention Events team for trusting us with such a meaningful part of this incredible celebration.
And on a personal note, I know plenty of people who are die-hard Korn fans, but I've always been, and will always be, a fan of this amazing couple. ❤️
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis married Brittany Parisi on July 3 in California, PEOPLE exclusively reveals. Their wedding was inspired by ‘The Birth of Venus,’ and featured custom formalwear, live music and Italian details.
