✨ Wedding Season 2026 is officially wrapped. ✨

Now that the season is over, I finally get to start sharing some of the beautiful weddings that filled my heart.

We're starting with this one because it perfectly represents why I love what I do.This couple hired me less than FOUR WEEKS before their wedding day.

Not four months.

Four weeks.

The bride was planning from over 1,000 miles away, trying to manage vendors, logistics, and all the moving pieces that come with planning a wedding. Needless to say, stress levels were high.

After the wedding, she left a review that simply said:

"Marie saved my sanity."

And honestly? That's exactly what happened.

In less than a month, we pulled everything together, solved problems, finalized details, created a plan, and gave this couple the ability to stop stressing and start enjoying their wedding.

One of my favorite parts of being a planner isn't designing beautiful weddings.It's taking the weight off my couples' shoulders so they can actually experience this season of their lives.

This wedding was proof that even when you're running out of time, the right team can make magic happen. ❤️

And THEN they partied 🪩🔥

One thing people always remember about a wedding?
The way it felt.

And Kyra & Josh’s dance floor felt electric from the second it opened.
But here’s the thing, a packed dance floor usually doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the flow of the evening. It’s guests feeling comfortable and present. It’s the timeline moving naturally instead of dragging. It’s great music, good lighting, strong energy, and creating moments that keep people engaged instead of constantly pulling them away from the experience.

A wedding should build momentum throughout the night… and this one absolutely did.

From glow sticks and outfit changes to guests screaming lyrics across the dance floor, these people showed UP for Kyra & Josh in the best way possible.

And honestly?
This is exactly how weddings should end 🤍

Oh and her hair and makeup was still FLAWLESS at the end of the night.

And then the space came to life 🍊✨

One of my favorite parts of wedding design is creating a reception that feels like an extension of the couple, not just something “pretty,” but something guests actually experience the moment they walk into the room.

For Kyra & Josh, we leaned into warmth, texture, citrus tones, candlelight, layered details, and a tropical-inspired atmosphere that felt vibrant without losing the softness of the day.
And this is something I think couples often don’t realize during planning, beautiful wedding design is rarely about one “big” detail.

It’s the layering.
The florals mixed with fruit.
The candle glow against the wood tones.
The movement of fabric and texture.
The way the napkins, menus, chairs, and tables all quietly work together without competing.
The smallest details are usually what make a wedding feel immersive.

Every piece of this room was designed to feel welcoming, energetic, romantic, and full of life… exactly like Kyra & Josh.
And somehow the night only got better from here 🪩✨

Waterfront vows, golden light, and a calm energy you could feel the moment you arrived. The kind of ceremony that makes everything else fade away for a moment.

And here’s something I always tell my couples,
your ceremony sets the tone for everything that follows.

The timing, the lighting, how your guests feel when they arrive, how smoothly things flow… it all starts here. When this part is intentional, everything else naturally falls into place.

After 15 years of planning weddings, I’ve learned that the most beautiful celebrations aren’t about doing more… they’re about doing the right things with intention.

Chelsea and Tom's wedding was the perfect example of that.

A soft white and blue palette, thoughtful details woven throughout the design, and a setting that didn’t compete with the natural beauty around it, it simply complemented it.

From the ceremony overlooking the water to the reception space filled with warmth and conversation, every part of the day felt effortless, calm, and truly enjoyable.

And that’s always the goal 🤍

That’s always the goal, creating a space where you can fully step into your wedding day, knowing every detail has been handled, every transition is seamless, and nothing pulls you out of the moment ✨

One thing I sometimes see couples try is piecing together their catering, ordering food from a restaurant, renting chafing dishes, hiring serving staff separately, and hoping everything comes together smoothly.

On paper, it can seem like a way to save money. But once rentals, staffing, setup, timing, and cleanup logistics are involved, it often becomes more complicated than expected.

Food service is one of the biggest parts of the guest experience. It involves timing, dietary considerations, presentation, and coordination between multiple vendors. When those pieces come from different places, it can be difficult for everything to flow seamlessly.

This is where having a planner can make a huge difference. My role is to help guide couples through vendor decisions, understand how different pieces work together, and make sure the team supporting your wedding day is set up for success.

Every wedding is different, but thoughtful planning and the right vendor team can make all the difference in how relaxed and enjoyable the day feels.

These moments didn’t happen by accident.

While dinner was being served and guests were enjoying themselves, we quietly pulled them away for a few minutes, just the two of them. They sat together, shared a private picnic, had a drink, and actually got a moment to take everything in.

There’s a photo from dinner where you can see my team and I standing off to the side, watching the room. That’s one of my favorite moments from the day, because when everything is running smoothly, that’s exactly where we should be. Present, aware, and making sure nothing needs the couple’s attention.

This is the part of the day most couples don’t even realize is possible. When the planning is handled and the timeline is protected, there’s room for moments like this... the in-between ones that don’t feel rushed or staged, but end up being some of the most meaningful.

A wedding can be beautiful, but what matters just as much is how it feels to experience it. My job is to make sure couples aren’t managing the day, they’re living it.

That will always be my focus. For the couple. 🤍
