On August 10th, First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach will be hosting a jazz recital of J.J. Band. J.J. Band is a jazz combo created in 2023 In Lexington, Kentucky. Its members are comprised of musicians who attended the University of Kentucky school of Music. This group was and is a prolific combo in the Jazz scene of Kentucky and on the national stage. Most recently this group has featured in The 2025 June edition of Downbeat Magazine as Best Collegiate Performance in the Blues/Rock/Pop category.
In this concert, J.J. Band will be taking a trip through classic jazz standards, the Modern era of Jazz fusion and even featuring a tune or two from the big screen. In this concert, other prestigious members will also be featured such as Miles Osland, Downbeat Magazine featured as “Best Jazz Educator”, Claudio Berrardi, Warren Williams and talented local artists.
