Something that is different than what you wear on a daily basis. It's a wonderful way to add 'something new' to your wedding day and incorporate into your details for your photographer to capture. Happy ♥️

Every June 12th we celebrate the United States Supreme Court's decision in 1967 to strike down laws in the remaining sixteen states that banned in*******al marriage.

Richard and Mildred Loving were married in 1958 and were arrested in Virginia, unaware that their in*******al marriage was illegal in the state. They pled guilty and relocated to Washington D.C. where they wrote a plea to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and fought for their right to be married. Their case, Loving vs. Virginia, sparked this change.

Their determination and love helped to shape the future of relationships in this country. Today we celebrate their love and recognize our right to love another beyond the color of their skin.

Hi friends ♥️ With a few new followers on here I figured it was time to introduce myself and give a few quick facts about me!

💌I'm Monica Kennedy, owner and lead planner. With over a decade of experience in event planning and design, I find great joy and fulfillment in helping my couples plan the wedding of their dreams.

💌 I graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and had a fruitful career post-grad in the world of talent management and event planning. In 2020 I decided to leverage my experience to create M. Kennedy Events + Weddings.

💌 My husband and I currently reside in beautiful Savannah and travel back to our hometown of Jupiter every month. We love both places so much and can't think of calling one home over the other.

💌 If you talk to me enough, you'll realize that I am absolutely obsessed with our two goldendoodles - Albie and Daisy. Both named after characters in our favorite books.

💌 I would describe my design style as organic, whimsical and romantic. I like to incorporate my couple's personality and story into each design with love and purpose.

I believe that there is beauty in the smallest details and that we are each unique in our traditions, design, style and love story. Your wedding day should be a reflection of who you are as a couple. Recently engaged? Let's set up a coffee date + chat 💍
