Many offered to make our own wedding day the best day ever! That says a lot to us about the relationships that have developed from a service offered. Hello! We wanted to introduce ourselves as we get this official page rolling 🙂

Our names are Merrick and Sydney and we are the team that makes up Moments Made Special! We have recently inherited a DJ business (previously known as VooDoo DJs) from our parents and have decided to rebrand this business to make it our own.

Along with DJ services, we are hoping to expand services to eventually include things like live music performance and add a bit more of a personalized touch with special effects for events such as weddings. Goals to strive for 😊

⭐️Something we have already added⭐️ is an officiant service! Sydney is a legal officiant who can perform marriage ceremonies. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Communication that she loves to put to work, so personalizing ceremonies is a favorite task of hers.

We are looking forward to this new adventure and are excited to be working with you all in the future! We hope to make those memorable moments in your life even more special through music and more ❤️

Randy and Julie VanZandt have officially retired as Voo Doo DJ's. Thank you for an amazing 15 years of inviting us to your family and business gatherings. We started this business to offer affordable music for wedding receptions. We have been invited to class reunions, business holiday parties, memorials, good-bye parties, surprise parties, school events, along with weddings and receptions. We are pleased to announce that our daughter and son-in-law have taken over the business and will continue bringing music at affordable rates. We will help them get things going.

Moments Made Special with Merrick & Sydney are carrying on with the family business.
