🎅🎄 Santa Splashdown Poker Paddle Christmas in July River Run! 🎄🎅

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce is bringing holiday cheer to the water this summer with a one-of-a-kind river adventure! 🚣‍♂️

Join the fun on Saturday, July 25, 2026 for the Santa Splashdown Poker Paddle along the beautiful Vermilion River. Participants will paddle to 5 stops, collecting poker cards along the way…best hand wins cash prizes!

✨ Event Details:
📍 South Street Municipal Public Boat Ramp
777 West River Rd., Vermilion, OH
🕘 Paddle: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📝 Registration begins at 8:30 AM

🎯 What to Expect:
• Festive Christmas-in-July fun on the water
• Kayaks, canoes & paddleboards welcome
• Cash prizes & awards for top hands
• 50/50 raffle
• Holiday spirit encouraged 🎅

💵 Cost: $30 per person

**NEW COORDINATOR**

The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce will be taking over this event for years to come! They have a great vision for this wonderful event and I only expect this event to grow under their guidance!

Updates will be posted on their social media and ours as we get through the transition period.

HUGE THANKS TO Shores & Islands Ohio!

We are super grateful to be a recipient of the 2025 Destination Development Grant!

This grant allowed us to upgrade our facility at the Vermilion Municipal Docks with 3 brand new picnic tables, 3 new durable umbrellas, and safety lattice around our Pavilion.

With their help we continue to improve our goals of providing superior customer service, improved comfort, and safety to the visitors that come through our Ports.

All of these were much needed upgrades and we are happy to have a partner that is so efficient in assisting us with our needs.
