~Forgotten Flowers~ 🧡🧡🧡

I found this old video I made of an arrangement I put together, don’t think I ever posted the video.

One of my aunts retired a few years ago (her favorite color is Orange 🍊) - My Mom picked out these flowers from and asked me to put them together for her to give to my aunt.
I like sometimes when other people pick out the flowers that they like, and bring them to me; it forces me to work with different textures and colors that I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen or picked out myself.

I think this arrangement actually turned out really well and everything went together beautifully! Those orange roses are so pretty! 🧡

~Forgotten Flowers~

I put this little Babe together a few months back- I had some flowers leftover from another arrangement and decided to put them together and see how they looked. I ended up liking the way this came out in the end! A little dark and moody, but also still a little cute and cheery ❤️

I have been looking through my camera roll and realized that I have so many pictures of flowers that I have never posted.

Sometimes I don’t take a ton of pictures because I feel I am too busy, or other times I get critical of the pictures I do take, and sometimes I just begin to doubt that the arrangements even look good.

Looking back on these pictures makes me realize/remember that I am happy with the way these flowers turned out~ it is so easy for me to pick things apart, but it is also important to remember to celebrate the final results and not be so critical!

-These arrangements are from this winter when we threw a party for my amazing sister and her retirement from professional soccer. She had just recently returned from the Deaflymipcs in Japan where she helped win the Women’s team the Gold Medal. 🥇
She is an outstanding soccer player and among her many accolades, she has won 5 Gold Medals with the Women’s USA Deaf Team 🇺🇸🏆🏅
My family and I are so proud of all she has done, we were happy to celebrate her and her fabulous soccer career!

~For these arrangements I chose gold vases to celebrate the gold medals, and just white and green flowers to keep them classic and elegant 🤍
We also made a photo backdrop with metallic balloons and pampas grass accents 🌟

The last picture is her Gold Medal from Japan! 🇯🇵 🏅🌟

I have had this Monstera plant for months~ it has been in a pot with dirt and has never grown. I have tried different locations, with different lighting, but it never had any signs of life or growth.
A few weeks ago when I went to water it, it practically fell out of the dirt, for some reason this plant wasn’t growing and had no roots.
I decided to pull it out and put what was left in this holder with water and… I have roots!! Signs of life~I am thrilled! 🌱
