Vassar Community Center The Vassar Community Center operated as the Vassar Grade School from 1912 to 1978. In 1979, the schoolhouse became the Vassar Community Center.

The Vassar Schoolhouse was built in 1912 and closed in 1978 after consolidating with the Lyndon School District. In 1979, the "little red schoolhouse" became the Vassar Community Center. The Vassar Community Center is an ideal facility for family reunions, meetings, receptions, birthday parties, funeral dinners and many other events.
