I’ve had Christmas on my mind for a while now, so here’s a little look at what I’ve been saving, collecting, and pulling inspiration from for the studio this year. 🤎

Christmas will start making its way into The Things We Keep throughout October, and I’ll share each space as it takes shape. By the very end of the month, the whole studio will be ready for Christmas sessions.

There will be something a little different in each room, but this is the feeling tying it all together.

Christmas dates are open now, too, for anyone who wants to claim theirs before all of the spaces are finished and revealed.

I’ve been spending just about every spare minute I have at the studio lately, and I’m finally ready to start letting you all in. 🤎

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been slowly revamping and finishing pretty much the entire space - the stairs, the bathroom, the ceilings, the rooms. Every room has changed in some way, and it’s been so fun watching all of the little ideas I’ve had for this place finally start coming together.

There are still things I want to add and change, because I don’t think I’ll ever be completely done with this place, but I’m so excited about where it is right now.

Hi, it’s me, Mikayla. 🤎

I’ve been keeping a few things to myself over here, and I’m really happy to finally share one of them with you.

There’s a new chapter beginning for the studio, and I’ve been so excited to start letting you in on a little bit of what’s ahead. A new name, a new look, and lots of changes to the spaces themselves.

So, say hello to The Things We Keep, a place for photographs and the stories they hold.

There’s still so much I’m working on and so much I’m looking forward to sharing. New photos of the spaces and booking details will be coming very soon, but for now, I’m just really happy to finally share this little piece of what’s to come.
