It was a wonderful day in our community at the annual Flatwoods Community Picnic!! It was great to talk to so many friends and neighbors. Our snow cones were a popular and refreshing treat again this year. Thank you Lori for making everyone’s favorite flavor!! I really enjoyed the watermelon flavor this year. All of the food was so good as well as the delicious ice cream for dessert! Some other activities included the antique car show, face painting for the kids, as well as the corn hole tournament! As always, there were a lot of great prizes given away also. A lot of time and effort goes into such a well planned picnic. Thank you to all of the volunteers that work together to make the annual picnic happen!!
