Some required RESILIENCE.

Some revealed our STRENGTH.

And some deserve to be CELEBRATED.

That’s why these became the four pillars of Friendsgiving Live®.

Every woman do not live the same story. Somewhere inside these four pillars, we can usually find a chapter of our own.

On December 6, women will gather in one room to honor all of it.

In 60 days, women will gather in Vancouver, Washington for the world’s largest Friendsgiving for women all anchored by one simple mission:

To empower women to give.

We’ve gathered around four pillars that represent so many of the chapters women experience throughout our lives:

RESILIENCE.
FORGIVENESS.
STRENGTH.
CELEBRATION.

There will be stories. Food. Giving. Connection. Laughter. Tears. Traditions. And a room full of women choosing to take up space together.

OCTOBER GRANTS : Women building businesses: this one is for you.

Friendsgiving Live® exists to empower women to give, but generosity becomes even more powerful when women also have access to the resources that help them build, grow, employ people, and create impact in their communities.

So we went looking.

Here are several funding opportunities worth exploring right now:

• Pave HER Way Disruptor Award — up to $90,000 for women leading projects or ideas with a clear public benefit for women and girls. Deadline: October 16, 2026. https://paveherway.org/apply/grant-program-guidelines

• Galaxy Grant — $2,500 for women and minority business owners. Deadline: October 31, 2026. (Galaxy of Stars) https://galaxyofstars.org/galaxy-grants/

• Women Founders Grant — $5,000. Deadline: October 31, 2026. (Women Founders Grant) https://womenfoundersgrant.com/apply-now-women-grants

• Amber Grant — $10,000 awarded monthly to a woman-owned business, with monthly winners also eligible for a $50,000 year-end award. (WomensNet) https://ambergrantsforwomen.com/all-grants

• Freed Fellowship — $500 awarded monthly, plus eligibility for an additional $2,500 year-end grant and business support. (Freed Fellowship) https://hello.freedfellowship.com

• Tory Burch Foundation Fellows Program — for eligible women entrepreneurs with established, revenue-generating businesses. Applications are open through November 17, 2026. https://fellows.toryburchfoundation.org/prog/2027_fellows_program/

• Verizon Small Business Digital Ready — $10,000 grants for eligible U.S. small businesses that complete the required Digital Ready courses or events. Applications are being reviewed throughout 2026. https://digitalready.verizonwireless.com/funding/details

• Breva Thrive Grant — $5,000 plus business support for eligible contractors and trade businesses. Breva’s current page shows the application window as closed right now, so check the program page for the next cycle before applying. https://www.breva.ai/thrive-grant

A grant may not build the whole business for you.

But it might fund the equipment, marketing, technology, hiring, education, or next move that gets you closer.

What started with 24 women in 2017 has grown into the world’s largest Friendsgiving festival for women, built around one simple mission:

To empower women to give.

Now, we’re looking for the women who will help us take that mission into communities across the globe through the Friendsgiving Live® local city licensing opportunity.

We’re looking for generous women who are already connectors and leaders in their local communities.

Women who love bringing people together and want to build a generosity-based, brand-amplifying event where business, relationships, philanthropy, and community impact can live in the same room.

You don’t have to invent the event. I spent nearly a decade doing that.

You bring your leadership, relationships, and knowledge of your community. Friendsgiving Live® brings the brand, framework, traditions, programming, and model we’ve built since 2017.
