What if the next Friendsgiving Live® room looked like this, except you’re the host and it’s happening in your city?

What started with 24 women in 2017 has grown into the world’s largest Friendsgiving festival for women, built around one simple mission:

To empower women to give.

Now, we’re looking for the women who will help us take that mission into communities across the globe through the Friendsgiving Live® local city licensing opportunity.

We’re looking for generous women who are already connectors and leaders in their local communities.

Women who love bringing people together and want to build a generosity-based, brand-amplifying event where business, relationships, philanthropy, and community impact can live in the same room.

You don’t have to invent the event. I spent nearly a decade doing that.

You bring your leadership, relationships, and knowledge of your community. Friendsgiving Live® brings the brand, framework, traditions, programming, and model we’ve built since 2017.

The vision is much bigger than one sold-out room in Vancouver, Washington.

At the center of Friendsgiving Live® is its Founder and Host, Kareen Mills, the woman who has spent nearly a decade building the room where these stories are told.

Kareen is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, keynote speaker, and community builder whose career spans nearly three decades across banking, insurance, business, and entrepreneurship.

Born and raised in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines, Kareen’s work has always been deeply influenced by her mother, Rose, an entrepreneur whose struggles she witnessed firsthand. Those experiences shaped Kareen’s belief in people, particularly the underdogs, long before they have the numbers, titles, resources, or recognition to prove what they are capable of becoming.

In 2017, that belief became Friendsgiving Live®.

What began with 24 women and no long-term plan grew through relationships, word of mouth, generosity, and community into the world’s largest Friendsgiving festival for women, anchored by one simple mission:

To empower women to give.

Friendsgiving Live® creates space for women from all walks of life around four pillars:

Friendsgiving Live® 2026 Speaker Spotlight: Rose Carlson

We are honored to introduce Rose Carlson as one of our four featured speakers for Friendsgiving Live® 2026.

Rose is an entrepreneur, photographer, community leader, author, and passionate advocate for women and families.

As the founder of Stack 7 Strategies LLC, specializing in web development, Google strategy, and cybersecurity, she helps businesses build stronger digital foundations. Her leadership extends beyond business through Rotary, more than 20 years of nonprofit board service, and numerous community outreach programs.

For 16 years, Rose has also found joy in her career behind the camera, telling poetic stories through photography.

Above all, Rose is a devoted mother of three, deeply rooted in her faith, the foundation that has shaped her strength, purpose, and perspective more than any title ever could.

Friendsgiving Live® was built to give women space to bring the stories they have lived into a room where those stories can become something meaningful for another woman.

Driven by a deep belief in justice, equity, and belonging, Rosa brings a rare ability to connect across differences, from individuals experiencing homelessness to C-suite executives. Her work centers on career development and perinatal transition support, grounded in lived resilience and a genuine passion for community.

A lifelong learner and avid reader, Rosa combines her professional expertise with curiosity, compassion, and a natural ability to communicate with people from vastly different walks of life.

Yet beyond her professional work and accomplishments is a life deeply rooted in family and culture. Rosa is raising two children in a bilingual, bicultural, multigenerational home, alongside their Persian cat, Mochi.

One of Kareen Mills’ (Founder) favorite transformation that we’ve done to really make Friendsgiving Live® special is to give back to our attendees.

Kareen and her advisory board is always finding ways to give back to everyone who makes this annual event so special; from attendees to sponsors.

We empower women to give after all so we want to be the first to do just that.

Since 2024, we ask attendees who are present to throw their name in the hat for the random speaker drawing for next year.

For some of our speakers, they walk in afraid with anxiety to even be in a room full over 130+ women let alone speak in front of them especially as we grow to our goal this year to 200 attendees.

A magical thing happens within our 4-hour programming. Fear transforms into…

“I change my mind, I’m doing it afraid anyways.”

Once a month Kareen hosts a Speaker Squad Summit (SSS) for a good hour to visit with our speakers for the current year to coach and guide them along the way or simply hold space and support them leading up to the day of!

Over the weekend, these three connected on so many levels. From culture and beyond.

We are so excited to hear all of our speakers for 2026!

Rosa Park Neves - an over achiever who haven’t missed a single SSS even when she’s tired and sick! She’s THE Workplace Doula. Rosa is of Korean descent. Rosa was one of Kareen’s old podcast listener (Being Motherhustler). The podcast has long been gone.

@ Dora Maria - a children’s book author. Kareen and Dora met during the global lockdown on an audio only app when she lived in NYC and have now moved to PNW for work.

We can’t wait for y’all to hear the speakers for 2026! We also can’t wait to randomly draw the names of our 2027 speakers during the live event!
