We had our first garden before we even had a house to come home to.

Belle Flower Farm has grown through many chapters since then — growing gardens, growing family, a foray into lavender farming, building an art program, and finding our way into floral design.

This is a new season. Literally — hello, summer. And personally.

A quieter chapter. A return to simplicity. Space for creativity, for connection with the clients I love most, and for the work that feels most true.

In this season you’ll find us here — open studio days, the Lily subscription, florals for events through the Meadows Collection, and intimate weddings through the Cottage Collection. Simple how-tos. And a new format for our newsletter — less broadcast, more letter. From me, to you.

There is something quietly extraordinary about a flower chosen for a milestone — and this season, we were a part of some delightful ones.

Ti leaf leis, woven by hand, with tiny roses folded from the leaves themselves.

The story behind a ti leaf lei is that it is meant for new journeys — worn at the threshold of something new, a blessing for the road ahead.

For one grad, we received this back for pressing and framing. Look here for images of final gift soon.

Orchid leis in the colors of their school — vibrant, celebratory, tied with bows that said we are so proud of where you have been…

or where you are going.

And one tiny pink nosegay — a little gathered posy tied in ribbon, made with the softest pink blossoms — because she loves pink, and that was reason enough.

They were visiting from out of town.

Her friends had opened their home for the weekend — extra towels, comfy bed, coffee ready before she asked, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel spoiled.

She wanted to say “thank you” the way the gesture deserved.

So she ordered from us — here in Felida, delivered to her friends’ door — a wrap bouquet of the best the season has to offer. It left the studio in elevated packaging, with one of our tags made from my own photography.

Her friends live locally. She trusted me to show up on her behalf. One of my favorite things to do.

Lily of the Valley
She began as seventeen small pips at our last home. Today, she cascades through the gardens here at Belle Flower Farm — a quiet testament to resilience, and to the beauty of beginning again.

Spanish Bluebells
A bell-shaped bloom for a farm called Belle Flower. She nods gently in the breeze, as if she’s always known she belonged here.

Lady’s Mantle
One of the most magical flowers in the garden. When light finds the water resting in her pleated leaves, she becomes something breathtaking. She asks nothing — only that you slow down enough to notice.

Sweet Woodruff
She traveled with us from our last home, tucked now beneath the mulberry tree in Chrysanthemum Fairy’s garden. A small thing, rooted in memory, quietly thriving.

Wisteria
She grew at our other house first. Although begun anew here — it is a living thread connecting one chapter to the next, trailing a beautiful story between two homes.

Columbine
She doesn’t stay long. Her petals drop quickly, then scatters seeds across the courtyard garden — and every spring, the joy is finding where she’s decided to appear next.

Cottage Roses
Buttery yellows. Warm apricots. Blush and white. Layer upon layer of petal and perfume. She is unapologetically romantic, and she is the heart of this garden.

Spirea / Bridal Veil
I recall my childhood neighbor, Florence, growing it in her garden. Gathering handfuls of the blooms I pretended it was snow cascading to earth. Her tiny white petals are now a quiet nod to every bride I create for — with a name so perfectly suited.
