From Tower to Temple - How can the allegory of the Tower of Babel teach us tolerance? Language can be a divide. Not confusion among languages but rather within language, a seriously unclear understanding of another’s world-view. We assume it is so different from our own and yet with clarity, a realisation there is more which unites than separates.

One of the most common questions we hear is: Is Freemasonry a religion? The answer is no.

is not a religion, nor is it a substitute for one. Instead, it encourages members to be active in their own faith traditions while remaining open and respectful toward the beliefs of others.

At the same time, Freemasonry requires its members to believe in a "Supreme Being." Masonic traditions include references to God, sacred texts, and moral teachings, which often leads people to wonder how Freemasonry relates to religion.

On our website, we explore this topic through one of Masonry’s central concepts: the Supreme Architect of the Universe: https://freemason.org/what-is-freemasonry/is-freemasonry-a-religion

Brethren, it is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our Worshipful Master, Bro. Glen O. Moore, on the night of September 8, 2026. After a courageous struggle with illness, our Brother has laid down his working tools and entered into the Celestial Lodge Above. We ask that you keep his family and loved ones in your prayers, and that we honor his memory by continuing the work of the Lodge in the spirit of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth that he so faithfully exemplified.
