Even the DJ loves Sherwood Forest! Thankyou Alan Mostov!!

As a wedding DJ for many years, it sometimes seems that I have already DJed in every venue in northeast Ohio. That's why I get so excited on those rare occasions when I am booked for a wedding or a party at a venue I have not previously visited. On Saturday, November 15, I had the privilege of DJing a wedding at the Sherwood Forest Event Center in Valley View—and WOW! There is SO MUCH to be excited about!

Owners Jimmy and Patty are wonderful. They are among the very best venue owners with whom I have ever worked. Their attention to detail and their willingness to do all they can to guarantee the perfect event for all celebrants does not go unnoticed. They are so kind, welcoming, and helpful—as a wedding vendor, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them both.

The venue, itself, is extraordinary in every way. The chapel and the banquet room both are tastefully decorated and very spacious, the food is delicious and expertly presented, and the service staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating beyond compare. Everything comes together to create the perfect event. Their package pricing is spectacular, too—it is fair and competitive, giving you more bang for your buck than most other venues I have visited.

If you are currently planning an event of any kind and size, you simply must visit this very impressive venue. You will be blown away by all that it has to offer!

Patty and Jimmy are AWESOME! My wedding was July/18/2026. The Venue The venue is a large, beautiful space. They have it all lit up with fairy lights and gorgeous chandeliers. There is room for over 200 people, and there is a dance floor area with generous space. Everything was so clean! Patty and Jimmy were able to help us with decorations too, from items they acquired from past weddings. Even with a large wedding, there was room for everyone to move around! Food and Drink The food was AMAZING! The catering is with Casa D'Angelo. Patty and Jimmy treated us to a menu tasting at the restaurant ahead of time. We had so much fun trying the Italian dishes, and it was hard to choose what items we wanted! Jimmy also brought out pizza at 9 pm. People LOVED it! The drinks were also delicious. They have a wide selection, and Patty even let us choose some signature cocktails for the evening! The Service Patty was with me every step of the way as I spent the last year planning this wedding. She always answered emails quickly. She is so kind and reassuring and an excellent problem solver!! I cannot recommend Sherwood Forest Event Center enough! Thank you for everything!!!
