**Heartfelt Update: WoodMill Winery Temporarily Closed Due to Devastating Fire**
Until Saturday September 13th at 5pm - Vale Strong Concert!
Dear friends, guests, and cherished supporters,
We are deeply saddened to share that on Sunday morning, August 31, 2025, a catastrophic fire broke out at WoodMill Winery—our beloved main building in Lincoln County was completely destroyed. Thankfully, no one was injured, and emergency crews successfully controlled the blaze by approximately 10:30 a.m.
While the structure has burned down, our spirit remains unbroken. As our family shared on social media: “Everyone is safe … we are currently unaware of what caused the fire, but we will be rebuilding.”
**What this means:**
* Temporary closure of the winery’s main facilities.
* Significant loss of inventory and the venue space.
* Community support has been overwhelming and heartfelt.
**What’s next:**
* We are forging ahead with plans to rebuild—with faith, community, and determination leading the way.
* Updates on our reconstruction timeline, rescheduling of fall events, and details for future gatherings will be shared soon.
* The cherished event venue (“music works building”) survived the fire; we aim to host upcoming events there while rebuilding progress continues.
* **The Fall Festival on September 20th will go ahead as scheduled!** We are excited to still host this community celebration and look forward to seeing you all there.
Please support our upcoming events—your presence means more than ever as we work to keep our community together through this difficult time.
To our wonderful guests and partners, we sincerely appreciate the flood of messages, prayers, and unwavering support. Though this is an incredibly difficult moment, we remain hopeful and committed to rising from the ashes—stronger than ever.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Larry Cagle Jr. & the WoodMill Winery family
