Man, I’m just thankful.
I remember when I had to hustle my ass off just to get somebody—anybody—to believe in me enough to let me cater their event. Now, people are reaching out to me with opportunities. In just a short period, three different catering jobs came my way—not because I chased them down, but because the work spoke for itself.
That will never become normal to me.
Y’all have chosen to follow this journey, support Pecan Grove BBQ, share our work, recommend us, book us, and give us opportunities to keep growing. I never want to become so successful that I forget to stop and sincerely say: thank you.
None of this was promised. It could have never gotten off the ground. It could all be gone tomorrow. So today, I’m taking a moment to appreciate everything this journey has allowed me to do—and everything y’all have allowed me to become.
And to every backyard barbecue cook with a dream: keep pushing. Keep learning. Keep burning that wood. Keep perfecting your craft when nobody is watching. Don’t wait for everybody to believe in you—believe in yourself enough to keep working until they have no choice but to see it.
Stay humble. Stay hungry. Keep grinding.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
