Stop Announcing Your Event
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when marketing an event is treating it like an announcement instead of an experience. Posting “Here’s the date, here’s the speaker, register now” may technically get the information out there, but it rarely builds excitement. Great event campaigns create anticipation by sharing the story, building curiosity, and helping people feel excited about being in the room long before check-in begins.
Because the truth is, the guest experience starts before guests ever arrive.
