We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Judge Mitchell. His years of dedicated service to our community left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten. He carried himself with integrity, wisdom, and a genuine commitment to serving others, and his work helped shape our community for the better.
Judge Mitchell’s legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the example he set. Keeping his family, friends, and all who knew him in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 🤍

The Uvalde Chamber of Commerce joins our community in mourning the passing of The Honorable William R. Mitchell.

Judge Mitchell dedicated his life to serving Uvalde County. From his early days on the Uvalde City Council to serving as Justice of the Peace, and ultimately 40 years as Uvalde County Judge, his leadership helped shape the community we know today.

Judge Mitchell leaves behind a legacy of service, leadership, and dedication that will not be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Katie, his family, and all who knew and loved him.

At the 501 Ranch, we believe in family time and making memories together. 🫶🏼 This Friday and Saturday, we’re opening our home and offering free admission to Christmas at the Ranch! 🎄✨

Free admission includes:
Entry to the ranch, access to thousands of twinkling Christmas lights, photos with Santa, and arts & crafts for kids.

We’ll also have festive goodies available for purchase, including carousel rides, delicious chili, s’mores, and hot cocoa.
