We’re raising funds to help bring Lagro Grocery to life in downtown Lagro — a community grocery store built for the people, by the people. All proceeds will go toward essential renovations: flooring, interior walls, doors, ceilings, and paint.

Why is the barn so important to us? 🤔

Because it’s our family history. Our grandparents were Charles and Helen Shear. They moved to this property in 1953 and lived here along with their six kids. They made their living by dairy farming. Two times a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year they went out to the barn and milked cows in what is now the groom’s dressing room. 😳 While the barn has changed over the years, it still holds such a special place in our hearts and memories. This barn is our family history, and we truly enjoy sharing that history with all of our guests. 💚
