For artists looking to be booked at Upton House Concerts:

Unfortunately due to the need to fill the house consistently we only host 3 shows per year, Fall, Winter and Spring. While there are a boatload of wonderful artists out there I have a list of people that I've known and respected for years that have yet to play the series. That's not to say that new artists aren't constantly added to that

list, but artists that I haven't met, seen play, and probably spent time with at other shows or festivals are going to be lower on the list than those that are already known. If you're playing in the area please let me know, I love to meet new artists and hear new music.

I'm sad to report that due to logistical issues beyond our control we've had to cancel the scheduled concert featuring Dan Frechette and Laurel Thomsen. We hope to have them rescheduled in 2021.

I'm sad to report that do to logistical issues beyond our control we are forced to cancel the Thomsen & Frechette show scheduled for Saturday, September 28th. Apologies for the short notice, and we hope to schedule them to play in 2021.

On Saturday, September 28th Upton House concerts is thrilled to host Frechette and Thomsen. Here's a little background on them.

Meeting in 2012 via a chance YouTube sighting and fueled by a once-in-a-lifetime musical chemistry and friendship, Canadian-American Roots-Folk duo Dan Frechette and Laurel Thomsen are “prodigious players with songwriting that sets them apart.” Now touring in support of their recently released fourth album, Driving By Candlelight, they combine soaring violin, diverse guitar styles, compelling storytelling, a dash of harmonica and humor, and unique vocal rapport for a dynamic, engaging, polished performance.
