SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🤍 Hi, Iʻm Brooke Chapman and I began dancing at TMC when I was 3 years old. I graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute and I will be attending Oregon State University in the fall where I plan to major in Business Administration. I am forever grateful for dance and the many blessings it has brought into my life. Thank you to all my amazing friends, teachers, and especially the community I have found at TMC. I am also extremely grateful for my family and my best friends for all their love and support. Mama, Aunty, Grandma, and Papa thank you for your endless love and support which has given me the confidence and strength to grow into the woman I have become.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🤍 Amanda has been dancing for nearly 12 years, beginning with her first ever ballet class at TMC. She later joined rhythmic gymnastics and tumbling, later being a part of the tumbling team. She recently graduated from Radford High School, and is excited to be attending Seattle University this fall to major in finance. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their endless support, as she wouldn’t be where she is today without them.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Hi, my name is Madeline Eakin, and I have been dancing for 8 years. I am graduating from Kalani High School, and this fall I will be attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where I plan to major in Nursing.

Dancing at TMC has been such a meaningful part of my life. I am so grateful for my teachers, teammates, and family for all their support throughout the years. Through dance, I have made so many lifelong friendships and memories that I will cherish forever. I have grown so much as a dancer and as a person, and I have enjoyed every step of the process. Thank you to everyone who has made my dance journey so special.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🤍 Kilia ‘Amaikalani Lawrence Gallagher has been dancing at The Movement Center since she was 7 years old. She is honored to be finishing her 10th year dancing right in the same place she began and will always have a special place in her heart for TMC.
Kilia has graduated from Punahou school and will attend the University of California at Santa Cruz in the fall, majoring in Psychology. She isn’t sure what place dance will inhabit in her life in the years to come, but is forever grateful for the home she knows she will always have here.
Kilia would like to thank her parents for their constant support and love, her fellow Dance Company members for always making her laugh, and the TMC staff for always being people she could come to for advice. She is so sad to leave, but so excited to see where this place will take the future generation of dancers.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

I’m Brooke Sumimoto and I graduated from Kaiser High School. In the fall I will be attending Creighton University located in Omaha, Nebraska where I will be on the track of Pre-pharmacy. I have been blessed to dance at The Movement Center since I was 4 years old. I loved dancing at TMC and will treasure every moment from the behind the scenes practices to bringing our dances to life on stage. I am so extremely grateful for everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and although I am sad to be leaving this chapter of my life behind, I will cherish all the friendships and memories I have made as I go off to college and I wanted to wish the best of luck to the future generations of dancers, I can’t wait to see all that you will achieve!
