🐔🥚 WE GOT OUR FIRST EGG!! 🥚🐔

It’s a big day at OCJ Resort! Mike and I built our chicken coop ourselves and have been raising these sweet girls since they were just a day or two old…and today we collected our very first egg! We may have been just a little excited. 😂💙

But these chickens are about more than fresh eggs. One of the things we love most about OCJ is creating simple, memorable experiences for families. Our hope is that on Saturday mornings, the little ones staying with us can come out, meet the chickens, help us check the nesting boxes, and collect any fresh eggs our girls have left for us! 🐣🥚

There’s just something special about slowing down, getting outside, and letting kids experience a little bit of country life at the lake.

Our first egg is officially in the books! Now, girls…keep ’em coming! 🐔🥚💙

What a fantastic few days hosting Ignite Youth from Kilgore! It was a joy having this incredible group at OCJ Resort as they enjoyed swimming, boating, exploring and time together making memories.
