This is one of last seasons seedling dahlias.
It is in the storage room where there is:
No light.
No water.
No windows.
The door was left slightly ajar.
Dahlias are not difficult to grow.
They want to live!
Moist conditions and a sliver of light allowed this one to bloom.

It's time to get your tickets for our Great Garden of Wayne County Tour!
The 2025 tour will be on Wednesday, July 16th from 4 pm to 8 pm and features 5 sites are in the Lyons area. Tickets are $10.00 per person and are available now.

To purchase tickets, stop by our office or mail payments to: CCE Wayne County, 1581 Rte. 88 North, Newark, NY 14513. Please note tour on your check. For special needs, please contact us 2 weeks prior to the event. Tour is rain or shine. Proceeds from this event support community horticulture programming in Wayne County.

A little before/after in the garden.
No one to blame but myself, but it sure is satisfying to get it cleaned up!
These were the last two spaces to clean up before putting down mulch.
I do have a little moving around to do with a few plants.
The next big project is finishing up planting everything for this season.
Shipping dahlia tubers between all the other farm tasks too.

●Caterpillar tunnel for hardening off seedlings
●Lupine blooms in the garden and close up. Love the details
●only a few more perennial rows to clean up and then we mulch them all.
