Hello Friends from The Barn at Homestead!
It’s somewhat hard to put into words what this place has meant to us over the last 11 years.
I seriously could’ve never imagined all the ways The Lord would use our little piece of “heaven” in the woods.
From the years of dreaming, visions, encouragement from others, to many sleepness nights of Seeking GOD and prayers that followed day after day.. We felt 2014 was perfect timing to break ground for our event venue- just in time for our youngest daughter’s wedding.
Here, we came up with the name: The Barn at Homestead
Over the years, we hope it has proved itself to be a place of celebration , connection, promises, and answered prayers to all. A place where families have come together, couples have begun their lifelong journeys, and memories have been made from the Lil Chapel to the Barn that will last a lifetime.
Have we endured trials, doubts, and long days???…
You betcha!
But without a doubt, The Lord has BLESSED us tremendously!
I feel what we’ve created here.. is not only a building, but also a legacy of love, hospitality, and faith.
Now, as we enter a new season- one filled with our grandchildren, a little more time spent together with a slower pace, we feel it’s time for us to pass the torch to the new owners who are excited to take on this adventure.
While this transition is bittersweet, we are so excited for us and The Barn at Homestead.
To those who have scheduled events for our 2025/26 calendar, rest assure, your days and weekend will move forward just as planned!
You can expect a smooth, thoughtful transition with every detail honored. This also includes our beloved Deck the Stalls Christmas Market, which will continue as planned under the care and coordination of our new owners, who share the same heart and vision for this space.
Walt and I both will still be cheering from the sidelines and watching this new chapter unfold with pride and gratitude! Stay tuned to meet the New owners real soon.
Last, but certainly not least, THANK YOU for trusting us over the years for letting us be a part of your milestones.
It has truly been our honor.
With all of our love,
Walt and Jean Goff
