Sooooo what is ConnectHER all about?! Finding gaps & filling them. Connecting to those who are in our networks and beyond. Taking care of ourselves. Truly being in and doing work in our communities. Mixing & Mending not Messing & Meddling.

We called Ebbi Nicole of Fluffy GRL Movement to the table and she discussed how she redefined the word “Fat”. Started from her days at MIZZOU she walked in HER purpose to not only support women in the plus sized community but educate body positivity too. Her fierce approach by way of live videos have connected people from everywhere to be apart of HER movement.

Shaneal Claybourne an introverted marketing director! Unheard of right?! No! HER work with the Black Space App pushes black folks to get out and explore not just our own backyard but the world. She shared that black travelers deserve a safe space. The app not only is bridging over 500,000 travelers but pushing traction to keep our HBCU communities alive & thriving.

Ever thought about running for office? Hill is the person you need to lead your team. Her grassroots company Black and Brown Leadership in Politics builds the platform for you to get in politics & keeps you informed on what’s going on in the political world. Dope right?! HER inspiration by women like Angela Rye and Stacy Abrams sparked HER to create her platform. I want to congratulate her for speaking on HER 1st panel!
