Fun fact I broke my foot before this wedding and I couldn’t attend but thanks to my amazing team we were able to capture this event so beautifully, when I was editing I was low key wishing I was there 🥺

Oh boy, this one is personal haha.
Guess who got engaged? My brother! And when I tell you I was happy that’s a real understatement. I was super involved with the whole planning of this little surprise as if it was my own. From helping my brother pick the ring to even buying her whole outfit to the day haha. I know I know a bit much maybe? But I think being in the wedding industry for soooooo many years made me a hopeless romantic and I wanted to make sure this day was truly special for them because they deserve it.
So the plan was that I was supposedly going to take her out to a fancy restaurant for girls night (because we always try to have girls day at least once a week, we mostly do it at home since I’m a homebody) but this time I told her “we should go out and have fun” so in her head we were going to go to this fancy dinner and like have wine and talk about life… but little did she know we planned a whole surprise.
That day we left home early to “avoid traffic” but in all reality was to give them a chance to get ready (them being my brother, my mom, and their son) so we went to the color factory had a blast took a bunch of pictures and from there went to the Menil to “show her a wall I liked” when we got there she got the pleasant surprise that my brother was there waiting with a gorgeous picnic set up by Picnics in the city and the best photographer Shaimaa Photography ready to take pics and of course my dear friend Brian covering the footage for me 🥺
These two have been dating for 12 years!! They met online on some music website that doesn’t even exist anymore and the fact that they were long-distance (she’s from South Carolina) didn’t stop their love! My brother drove 16 hours just to see her. They’ve had ups, downs, and all the things imaginable but they keep proving to me and everyone that love truly exists and can conquer all things.

Watching this video with my family made me realize what couples feel when I submit videos! We all felt so touched and emotional. Enjoy this little video, this one is personal to me 💖
