This years gala is extra special because its Franz Welser-Möst’s 25th and final season marking a once-in-a-generation moment for The Cleveland Orchestra. Th Symphony of Gratitude Gala will bring together friends and supporters of the Orchestra for an extraordinary evening celebrating Franz's remarkable tenure, artistic vision, and enduring impact. ⁠

A little clay, some actual stems, a rolling pin and the bride and groom’s initials. We created custom imprints for the trees because apparently just building the trees wasn’t enough for me.

We love when the cake becomes part of the design of the room instead of just something placed in it. Surrounded by flowers and all of those beautiful details, this one definitely deserved its own moment 🎂

You’ll usually find me somewhere in the middle of the action.

Directing, adjusting, answering questions, moving things around and probably changing my mind about something at least once. I lead an incredible team, but I’m still very hands-on with every event we produce.

One of my clients recently saw a Reel of me sweeping on site and was shocked. I told him, listen, I do not cook or clean at home, but for some reason sweeping on site calms my nerves. Thankfully, it was captured on video as evidence for my better half that I do, in fact, still know how to operate those kinds of tools. 😂

And then there’s my “adult onesie,” as another client called it. When call times are in the very early morning hours, the last thing I want to concern myself with is an outfit choice. I love my adult onesies. They’re comfortable, require zero thought and mean it’s time to get to work.

Whatever needs to be done, I’m usually right there in the middle of it. It’s always been that way, and I think it always will be.

These trees don’t arrive looking like this. They’re built by our team, transported to the venue, installed piece by piece and adjusted on site until we get them exactly where we want them.

There is a lot of work behind the pretty pictures, and this is a big part of it.

For Shae & Sam, the florals, centerpieces, place settings, stationery, seating chart, and cake were designed as one cohesive visual story. Each layer introduced texture, dimension, and intention while maintaining a consistent point of view throughout the celebration.⁠

A celebration of color, connection, and a love that was felt in every moment!⁠

For M & C we wanted the flowers to do more than decorate the spaces at Harkness Chapel and Severance Hall. We designed them to frame the happy couple from their vows, to dinner and the entire celebration!⁠
⁠
Layers of bright blooms created a deep ceremony arch they could truly stand beneath and fully immerse themselves within florals as precious as the love they have for one another. The perfect place to share their vows. At Severance Hall, florals filled the architecture, from a statement moment tucked into an alcove to the head table installation, elevated on clear acrylic to appear almost suspended above the table and frame the newlyweds throughout dinner. But our favorite part of these photographs will always be the two of them.⁠
