Freedom, like anything else, is something still being built.

Our ambassador team stood among the flags, a visual reminder of the many who served, and the many still hoping to feel fully free. We, as Americans, are luckier than others and that perspective is so important. WE are on the world's stage.

July 4th doesn’t hold the same joy for all, but it can be a day to pause. To appreciate the people who make space for different stories, and to honor those who gave everything, even when the promises weren’t yet kept for everyone.
