It is so saddening that this gorgeous life lasted such a short time. Please live life as if each day is your (our another's) very last. Be kind. Be faithful. Be full of love and life... just like Baby Emma (not our Emma). Innocence is pure and strong. We loved you Emma... always will. God Speed. We'll never forget you or that determined persererance, even as a baby. Luv ya babe.

Just before Emma had her final push. She hates the port access as you can imagine. Brave has many faces. Just know that tears are never a sign of weakness.

Last night was Emma's last blood thinner injection in her skinny minnie legs. Still trying to put the meat back on those bones after this Summer. But no more twice a day pokes and constant bruising! Merry Christmas!!!

BREAKING NEWS: Cal's Angels has been selected as a top 3 finalist in Highland Park High School's Charity Drive!

Each year, the HPHS students, staff and community members work together during the month of February in an effort to raise a HUGE amount of funds for a charitable cause. Students and staff vote for a non-profit as a recipient of their fundraising efforts. We are so excited to be part of the top 3 non-profits in the ballot and so thankful for the hard work of the HPHS students and community for giving back to help their local community.
