FIVE stars for the incredible team that were employed with Currie.
Every wedding has its unexpected challenges—and mine came just one week before the big day, when I received an email saying the salon I had booked for hair and makeup was no longer in business. I was shocked and overwhelmed. But what followed truly speaks to the professionalism and dedication of this incredible team.
Allie went above and beyond—reaching out to me via Instagram without hesitation. She took it upon herself to gather the team and ensure they would be there for me on my wedding day. She stepped into the role of a planner without ever being asked, confirming the schedule, pricing, and service locations, and even coordinating with my fiancé, our wedding planner, and our venue (Hotel du Pont).
Not only did she and the rest of the women show up—they absolutely delivered. Their work was flawless, and their presence brought calm and confidence during a stressful time. A special shoutout to Amber, who did my makeup and also helped coordinate everything. Both she and Allie are true superstars—genuinely kind, thoughtful, and talented.
I am forever grateful to these women for stepping up and making sure everything went smoothly. They turned a potential disaster into a beautiful experience, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
