I’ve been fascinated by the way water refuses to stay still. It’s never just blue. It’s light folding over itself, patterns appearing and disappearing every second, abstract paintings projected onto skin.

One of my favorite things about being an artist is getting invited into spaces where creativity multiplies.
I spent the day photographing The Engagement Party at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Every terrace had its own personality, every table felt like a tiny installation, and every creative brought a completely different way of thinking about celebration.
As someone who spends a lot of time exhibiting artwork in galleries and museums, it was especially fun to photograph a wedding event inside a place built for looking closely.
I left with a head full of ideas.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some of my favorite moments from the day.

I have no doubt that my mom image of me in the bathroom because she just sprayed my hair and I would soon to be turning cartwheels and the hair wouldn’t last.
I admire her knowing 😂💛.

One day someone small will sit in your living room and turn these pages.

They’ll ask questions.

“Why are you crying?”
“Why does Dad look nervous?”
“Was that Grandpa?”

They won’t just see a wedding.

They’ll see the beginning of their own story.

This is why I believe in albums.

Because someday your children won’t scroll your wedding —
they’ll hold it.

It’s emotional. Beautiful. Electric.
