ATTENTION MEMBERS:

The Icicle Open Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for this Saturday, has been RESCHEDULED due to… well, ice. Ironic, isn’t it?

The new date will be the following Saturday, January 27, 2024 with a 12:00PM start. This will be a 1-person Scramble at $40/player + applicable cart fee. Members can still sign up at [email protected].

Meet Our Members! We’d like to introduce you to Zach Blackmon. Pictured at the Gillis Tournament at SSCC in May 2023. 🏌🏻‍♂️

Zach grew up in the house right behind the number 3 hole on the course with his parents Randy and Michelle, and he’s been a member with us his whole life! He and his wife Morgan played high school golf together here in Sulphur Springs and, according to Zach, “those high school golf practices, armadillo hunting and frog gigging, Wednesday and Friday night scrambles, and playing in the ‘group’ are all memories [he will] forever cherish!” We’d also love to share an official congratulations from the SSCC family as the two are now expecting!

Zach and his family are regular faces at events and activities around the Club. He is a member of the Men’s Golf Association and has recently been doing very well in our Simulator Golf League. When asked for his favorite thing about SSCC, Zach said, “My favorite thing about SSCC are the members. There are a ton of great people out there and I enjoy playing golf and hanging out at the club with them!”

We love the legacy the Blackmon family has been to us here at SSCC, and we are honored to be a small part of stories like these. 💙

Sulphur Springs Country Club has a one-of-a-kind 18-hole golf course that is both stunning and provides opportunities for golfers of every skill level. Our course and practice areas are very well maintained and entice golfers in from all over East Texas.

We offer lessons, golf clinics, league play, and events ranging from social golf to competitive tournaments with our professional-level staff. We also offer year-round practice opportunities for our local schools and universities.

SSCC has a complete, full-service Pro Shop that carries athletic apparel for both men and women golfers as well as a full line of golf equipment. Our staff and equipment representatives are certified for proper club fittings, and we are always willing to place a special order for members so you can be sure to not only be fashionable on the course, but to also have the best available products on the market for you.

5:00PM-6:00PM | $20 to sign up (Limited availability)

All skill levels welcome. Ages 6-12 (unless approved by Kendall)

Rainy weather got you down? Cheer yourself up with some incredible fine dining here at SSCC!

Our dining facilities provide front row seats with panoramic views of our golf course and the natural beauty of East Texas, and our Executive Chef and his team provide exceptional menu selections for our members and their guests.

Have a casual lunch with us in the Five-Eleven Bar & Grill or dress up for a nice evening in our 511 Chophouse restaurant. Either way, the company is great, the food is amazing, and the views can’t be beat!

Meet Our Members! We’d like to introduce you to the Morris family. Pictured with our staff member Madison, Brad, Terry, and their son Cameron played in the Gillis Tournament at SSCC in May 2023.

Brad has been a member with us since 2012 (11 years) and Terry joined us in 2016 (7 years). When asked for their favorite thing about SSCC, Brad said, “We live out here so it’s nice to have someplace so accessible. We can take a golf cart anywhere and don’t need vehicles. The facilities are really nice, and our family loves the new simulators. Overall, it’s a great place!”

We’ve been so grateful to have their family around our Clubhouse and look forward to seeing them for many years to come!
