We are an agritourist destination where the beauty of the outdoors complements the specialness of your wedding day. Begin with hayride to the outdoor chapel and a reception or cocktail party under our Pavilion. Sit in our front porch firepit and roast marshmallows or laze beside Lake Whileaway with a glass of wine or a fishing pole. Because we are a working farm, we do our tours by appointment only, so email us and set one up.

Our Story

There is nothing more romantic than a country wedding and we love hosting them! Carl & I have combined a lifetime of interests...mine in Theatre and his in agriculture...to create a beautiful, special place in which to celebrate your wedding with the family and friends who mean the most to both of you. Your new life together begins on our 100 acre farm tucked beneath Hume Mountain in Madison County, Virginia. Lots of love and hard work have gone into creating a special place in which to make a lifetime of vows and start a lifetime of love together.

In the early spring, redbuds, dogswoods, forsythia and peonies carpet the landscape. In late spring, the trees fully leaf, honeysuckle and wild roses along with gorgeous lilacs begin to bloom and their scents perfume the air. In summer, sun sparkles off the lake where fish are jumping, Great Blue Herons or people are fishing, crickets are humming, and cows are munching to their hearts content at the abundant grass. In fall, friends are found around our front porch fire pit making s’mores or enjoying a glass of wine around a bonfire under star filled skies.
