“Everyone is a photographer,” I keep hearing or “my iPhone takes good photos.”
And it’s true everyone has a camera and everyone can take a photo.
But can everyone anticipate a moment before it happens?
It happens in a flash.
A flicker.
Blink and you’ll never see it.
Breathe and you’ll miss it.
That is where the artistry lies.
Am I an artist? Not sure I would classify myself as one yet, but I do love stepping behind the lens and seeing what magic happens.

I’m filled with so much gratitude over the last week. The Appalachian Fair holds a special place in my heart- it’s where I first stepped behind the lens. We cannot thank our team enough this week, it was a huge village effort with lots of moving pieces and we wouldn’t have made it without yall! Can’t wait to keep sending galleries this week!
Huge thank you to the fair board for having us out, looking forward to the 100 year celebration! We took Sunday to spend time with family, time to get back to the grind and editing. Keep your eyes open for Little Miss, Dairy, and Sheep Show photos. ✌🏼🤩 in the meantime enjoy some of my favorite images from the week so far!
