Rutherford Stage is a nonprofit community theater providing opportunities for all ages to experience high quality performance.

Executive Director Laura Link and co-Artistic Director Michael McKinney would love to see you on our stage or in our audience! The Rutherford County Arts Council is a non-profit, community-based arts organization serving Rutherford County, NC and the surrounding region. The RCAC has established programs and activities involving all major categories of fine arts and performing arts in its 40 year history while maintaining a particular emphasis on work in the dramatic arts and work with children.

OLYMPUS This Week:
Tuesday, Sept 1. EVERYONE should come at 6:30. We will be finalizing the casting assignments. You will be called back in groups.

Wednesday, Sept 2: The cast list will be emailed to you all by 5pm.

Thursday, Sept 3. EVERYONE AND PARENTS OF ANYONE Under 18 arrive at 6:30. Scripts & the rehearsal schedule will be handed out. We will also have a cast & parent meeting to go over rules and expectations. Parents will need to be in attendance to sign permission forms as well.

All ages are welcome, and no experience is required. Please note that while there are parts available for all ages, most speaking roles will be for older students and adults. Anyone auditioning should plan to attend both auditions. You don’t need to prepare anything for the auditions, just fill out the audition form and show up!

The 90 young actors in our Summer Drama Camp have been hard at work preparing for Aesop and His Fabulous Fables, a musical play by Diane McEnnerney. Come see their performance this Friday night at 7pm. Admission is $5 at the door only, no pre-sales.
