What started with almost nothing has grown into something truly special, thanks to the tireless hearts behind it all: Jeff, Jane, and son Vincent—small business owners, a small team with a big dream and a love for Filipino coffee and our culture that never wavered.

Up to this date since we established KAPE TAYO two years ago, BY GOD’s GRACE we managed with NO outside funding, credit card spending and credit card debt. Welcoming our 1st walk-in customers today from Bahamas and Tobago of the Carribean Islands! They are vacationing in Houston for the 1st time and was looking for some coffee and breakfast place. Found us on google. So glad to hear they love our Pinoy Cappuccino, Vincent’s Vanilla Latté and our Breakfast Chicken Tacos! With their permission I snapped a souvenir 📸. As a community-rooted café, we believe in sharing God’s blessings and giving back to the Church that continues to uplift and guide us. This special gathering of 60 Filipino Boholano priests from across USA, Canada and Bohol Philippines is not only a celebration of faith and unity, but a meaningful way to support church missions and ministries close to our hearts. The Boholanos have been close to our hearts. Not only because we come from neigboring islands in the Visayas region in the Philippines but also because most of them that we met in Houston are good and kind people. We have seen and felt their support to KAPE TAYO Houston. We are returning their kind gesture and support them in their good Cause.

Today was a great day as we learned they enjoyed their Lunch cooked with love courtesy of KAPE TAYO Café. Our second year serving the Boholano priests.

Tonight as we support their Concert for a Cause, we enjoyed great OPM hits of all time. A great way to unwind.
