The Smith Connection - 1972 - Under My Wings - Music Merchant Records [😎]
I was just talking about this LP in another post, and after a little nostalgia it occurred to me that I never hear anyone mentioning this LP. - If you consider yourself a fan of 70's sexy soul, that Philly sound, Soul Generation, Continental Four, ect., You should know this album. A masterpiece for sure. Cut's like "the Day You Leave", I Wish I Had You" title cut "Under My Wings" Fiya! This is one of those albums you play from beginning to end. There's no filler here. This is one of the earliest LPs I had in my collection [because that was originally my parents collection]😉 If anyone's familiar with the singer Michael Lovesmith, well this is where he began, him and his brothers formed The Smith Connection, then later became Lovesmith. They only released this one LP but it's a worthy piece for any collection.
