Our own MC Dave Kammerman is adding another notch on his announcing belt. Dave is one of our Night at the Races callers as well as the PA announcer for the Cleveland Charge and now is working with the Akron Rubber Ducks as the PA announcer for this season. Dave is awesome and maybe you'll see Dave at your next Star Night at the Races event. This is a news clip about the process to find the Rubber Ducks new announcer.

It’s Friday and we’re racing with the Akron Symphony Orchestra at Events Three Thirty in Akron. It was the old Tangiers Restaurant & Cabaret. Redone and ready for events courtesy of the LeBron James Family Foundation. Pretty cool place.

Made a stop in Pontiac Michigan at the Lafayette Grand Event Center. Cool place but old buildings are never fun to load in and out of. But the beer was cold, so we had that going for us.

We do huge events and little events. This one was a little guy on a Thursday night in Lakewood benefitting the Diabetes Association. Fun crowd and very generous.

The calm before the Lakewood Athletic Booster storm. 375 big spending Lakewood Ranger supporters showed up in full force again. This year they utilized our new “cashless betting” system which made for bigger profits and faster betting lines.
Very well organized and along with 50 raffle baskets resulted in score of over $30,000. Good job Lakewood. See ya at the next one.
