Greetings from the Uncommon Ranch! What a summer this has been.. from Opening Plant Sale Day to our Afternoon Teas al fresco, curated dinners with Chef Kaytie, dozens of group events, our inaugural Art in Bloom, plein air painting in the fields, yoga, classes, tours, u-pick lavender and more! Now we must focus on completing our newest venue The Retreat with a planned opening later this fall.

We will be closed for regular business hours starting today.

We have a few tickets left for our August 14th BBQ dinner with Derek Boik Solo Guitar and Beechwood Cafe Roscommon and dinner with Chef Kaytie September 20th. Get your tickets!

Fall/Winter schedule will be forthcoming.. expect art classes with Donn Perez, grand opening of The Retreat and Uncommon Studio, and holiday events.

We are open to booking private events for 2026 at The Retreat.

Midwest artists have been gathering at The Uncommon Ranch, finding inspiration in our blooming lavender fields, serene grounds, and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Now, they are ready to share their creations with you.

Join us on Saturday, July 19th for Art in Bloom — an inspiring day of art, nature, and community. Original works will be on display and available for auction, offering a rare opportunity to take home a piece of this season’s and our region’s beauty.

Wander through our blooming lavender fields, where thoughtfully arranged art displays will weave through the landscape. Discover original works from both emerging student talent and acclaimed professionals - many of whom will be onsite to share their stories and creative process.

See a piece you love? Place your bid or buy it outright - and take home an original artwork infused with the essence of The Uncommon Ranch.

Congratulations to our neighbors, Forest Dunes Golf Club on the announcement of their new course. At the Ranch we appreciate the land around us and the beautiful sky above. Perfect name for a course nestled in our Huron National Forest and under our magical clear skies.

With all the talk about eggs these days it’s good to know where your eggs are coming from. Our lavender Orpington hens were raised from chicks right here on our ranch. Clean and spacious home (quite luxurious, actually!) all natural diet, and no hormones. $6 a dozen/$3 half dozen (50 cent discount if bring own carton) We have a customer egg list- if interested DM or text us 833-275-6369.
