We're planting new rows of lavender with different cultivars each with their own unique scents, colors, and purposes, and you're invited to watch it all happen. It’s a great chance to see how we plant, learn what makes each variety special, and ask any questions you’ve got about growing this amazing plant. Afternoon Tea at the Uncommon Ranch?! What could be better than sipping on some lavender lemonade, nibbling on some scrumptious lavender scones and taking in all that the Uncommon Ranch has to offer.
We enjoyed our Holiday Teas so much this winter in our Conservatory Greenhouse. We wanted to bring that same magic to you all summer long. Every Sunday starting June 16th through August 31st we will hold afternoon tea from 1 - 3 pm. Advanced tickets requested.

Curated menu for a smoky and spicy BBQ at the Ranch which will sure to become a regular addition to our schedule. Derek Boik will be bringing his Blue Grass and Country set to our outdoor feast! Congratulations to our neighbors, Forest Dunes Golf Club on the announcement of their new course. At the Ranch we appreciate the land around us and the beautiful sky above. Perfect name for a course nestled in our Huron National Forest and under our magical clear skies.

With all the talk about eggs these days it’s good to know where your eggs are coming from. Our lavender Orpington hens were raised from chicks right here on our ranch. Clean and spacious home (quite luxurious, actually!) all natural diet, and no hormones. $6 a dozen/$3 half dozen (50 cent discount if bring own carton) We have a customer egg list- if interested DM or text us 833-275-6369.

✨ As the sun sets on 2024, we reflect with full hearts on the incredible journey this year has been. Our inaugural year at the Uncommon Ranch has brought so many beautiful moments—fields blooming with lavender, laughter of families and friends together, new beginnings, and connections made that remind us of the magic of community.
From planting another 2000+ more lavender plants across 12 Midwest-hardy cultivars, to welcoming guests into our retreat & greenhouse spaces, this year has been nothing short of extraordinary. We are deeply grateful for the support, smiles, and shared stories that have made our dream a reality.

As we step into 2025, we’re dreaming even bigger—new experiences, expanded events, and more opportunities to cultivate connections with others and with nature. We can’t wait to share what’s next with you.
